Fantasy Filmfest White Nights

It has totally slipped my mind that the Fantasy Filmfest takes place twice a year (kind of - the second part called White Nights is much shorter than the main festival and a mere weekend long) and the second part, or depending from where you look the first part, takes place this weekend, January 27 and 28.

I can't say I'm excited about the whole program, and since I was negligent some shows are unfortunately already sold out. But I'll se what I can do to still grab some tickets.

The paranormal horror movies Amelia's Children, Nightwatch: Demons Are Forever and When Evil Lurks have genuinely frightening visuals. Especially the last two piqued my interest and I want to see them FFF or not. I'm also interested in Red Rooms, apparently a thriller about a serial killer groupie and it's French, which is the main reason of my interest. The remaining flicks are either adventure/action Os reviento (I'll Crah Y'All), Alienoid: Return to the Future, The Last Stop in Yuma County, or comedy Dream Scenario, Daaaaaali! and Hundreds of Beavers, which is the most bizarre trailer I have seen in my whole life, but I don't much feel like experimental films at the moment.

The showings are at the beautiful and comfy Zoo Palast Cinema in Charlottenburg, so maybe see you there!
